Privacy Policy

Information and purposes

Account registration collects your name, email, password, account type and WhatsApp number. Passwords are transmitted securely for authentication and deletion confirmation; eBiens does not store plaintext passwords. Supabase handles authentication. Property submissions include description, price, location, photos and private advertiser contact details. We use these to run accounts, review and display approved listings, respond to inquiries, and provide favourites and alerts.

The website host receives technical request information such as IP address and browser details. If you opt into site analytics, we record page and search visits, a browser visitor ID, approximate country and browser type to understand use of the website.

Visibility and providers

Approved listing details and photos are public. Pending and rejected submissions and advertiser contact details are not intended for public display; authorized administrators may review them. Public visitors contact eBiens, which may privately contact the advertiser.

Supabase provides authentication, database and photo storage. Vercel hosts the website. Google Maps loads only if you choose to allow it or request an individual map. Following a WhatsApp or external map link takes you to that provider. We found no advertising scripts or active online checkout on the website.

Storage, rights and deletion

Account and listing information is used while the account or listing is active. A fixed retention period for all records and hosting logs has not been published. Cookie choices last 180 days. Withdrawing analytics permission removes the browser visitor ID and stops new events, but does not automatically erase previously recorded events.

The app and website share account deletion: confirm with your password to hide listings, remove your listings and uploaded media from active storage, delete associated account records, revoke sessions and delete authentication. Success is shown only when these steps finish. On failure, retry or contact contact@ebiens.com; listings remain hidden. Provider backups and infrastructure logs follow their retention schedules; a fixed period has not been confirmed. A deletion status without your email/account link may remain. See /account-deletion.

eBiens Android app

The Android app (com.appunicus.ebiens) uses the same Supabase accounts, listings and moderation as this website. It stores your language, city, currency and privacy choices on the device, and stores login sessions in encrypted device storage. Account passwords are sent securely for authentication and deletion confirmation; eBiens does not store plaintext passwords.

Firebase Cloud Messaging provides optional notifications. It uses a push token and Firebase installation identifier; Google receives technical connection and device/app information. eBiens links the notification token to your signed-in account only after you enable notifications in Account > Privacy preferences. You can disable them there; this stops registration and removes the current token. The app has no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDK and does not use the advertising ID.

The app uses the system photo picker or camera only when you choose a photo. Location permission is requested only when you press the current-location control; manual location entry remains available. Chosen listing locations and uploaded photos become public only after approval. The map picker connects to OpenStreetMap tile services and the device geocoding provider when opened; the optional Google Maps WebView preview connects to Google and may use cookies only after your choice. Opening external support, WhatsApp or policy links is governed by those services.

Listing and advertiser reports send your account ID, the reported listing/author and your explanation to administrator review. Blocks hide that advertiser’s listings while you are signed in; you can remove blocks in Privacy preferences. Posting terms acceptance is recorded with the account and date. There are currently no paid services or in-app purchases.
